The Electrical Apprenticeship is accepting new Training Agents.
GSET is currently accepting applications for Training Agents from employers who wish to participant in the GSET apprenticeship- see below for the link to apply.
Apprentices who wish to participate in GSET must be employed by a GSET Training Agent per WA WAC requirements.
How to Become an Electrical Apprentice

Fill out the 2-page job application. Do not initially submit your Social Security Number.

Email your application and optional cover letter to [email protected].

Your application will be reviewed to ensure you meet minimum requirements.

Your application will be submitted to the over 60 GSET Certified Training Agents.

The Training Agent/Employer will contact you for a job interview.

Once hired by a GSET Certified Training Agent you will be registered into the GSET apprenticeship program.

To get or renew a Washington State electrical trainee card, you must meet the eligibility requirements, fill out the application, and submit to the Department of Labor & Industries (L&I) website.
What can I expect from the classroom instruction?
Classroom instruction from GSET’s partnership with North Idaho College Workforce Training Center is practical and meets Idaho’s apprenticeship requirements. See more here.
How do I apply for an apprentice card and renew my apprentice card?
To apply for or renew an Idaho electrical apprentice card, register with the Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses (DOPL), complete the training requirements, and maintain your hours and education.
